TERMS and CONDITIONS
It is with great pleasure
that we offer our Banquet service to you.
Our professional and friendly staff takes pride
in the successful way that functions are conducted
throughout the year. In order to ensure the
smooth running of your function, we have established
the following procedures. Should you have any
queries on this information we are only only
too happy to clarify them.

BOOKINGS
A tentative booking will be held for 7 days
and a deposit is required to CONFIRM your
booking.
Minimum DEPOSIT of $2000 for the
Palais Ballroom and $1000 for the Albert
Room is required.
At the time of final payment (four days
before the function) the deposit is held
as a BOND and will be returned to you at
the conclusion of the function.
CANCELLATION
In the event of cancellation the deposit paid
is non-refundable.
ACCOUNTS
Four days prior to the function the FINAL PAYMENT
is required as per the total number of guests.
Final number of ADULT GUESTS (not children)
WILL DETERMINE THE PRICE PER PERSON, as indicated
in our packages.
MC, DJ, Videographer, Photographer must be
included as part of your guest list.
At final payment, the Palais Reception Centre
accepts only cash or bank cheques
GUARANTEED NUMBERS
To ensure our maximum efficiency our stated
minimum numbers must be met or exceeded.
Numbers may be increased slightly but not decreased.
We will prepare the number of meals to your
instructions, if however we are obliged to
produce additional meals, the cost of those
meals will be deducted from the BOND.
FUNCTION DETAILS
All function details and menu selections can
be confirmed at least two months prior to
the function.
All DJ’s AND BANDS
MUST ONLY USE THE AMPLIFIERS AND SPEAKERS
SUPPLIED BY THE PALAIS FUNCTION CENTRE LOCATED
ON THE PREMISES.
BEVERAGE POLICY
The Palais Function Centre supports the responsible
service of alcohol policy.
ALCOHOL WILL BE REFUSED TO THOSE UNDER THE
AGE OF 18, THOSE WHO SUPPLY ALCOHOL TO UNDERAGE
PERSONS, OR THOSE WHO ARE IN THE OPINION OF
THE LICENSEE, INTOXICATED.
DAMAGES
We will take necessary care but accept no responsibility
for damage or loss of merchandise left in
the function centre during or after functions/exhibitions.
Use of the walls for display material is
not permitted.
Organisers are financially responsible for
any damage.
